Semillas

Hands on experiences is the best way to make your students learn about anything. In this case we'll talk about SEEDS.

We show the students different kind of seeds and we talk about their size, texture...

Make small bags with sample seeds in them and let them find out what they will grow.

This activity can be used as a warm-up activity or after explaining them some concepts. In my case I use it after explaining how a seed can travel and how different they are.

Once they are on task we'll plant small lentils to experience how they grow.

You can read about this and other ideas here.
If you like the activity you can download it for free.
