US Schools Try New Bilingual Method

Americans are not usually known for their ability to speak foreign languages. In fact, efforts to teach children in bilingual settings have often been ineffective and controversial. Now, educators believe they've found a better way to do it. In this video clip, VOA's Jerome Socolovsky shares his experiences of visiting a bilingual school in a suburb of Washington, DC.
